During my time interning at Change Media Group (primarily a digital advertising firm), I learned that in the political sector, direct mail (when combined with digital of course) is still relevant and effective. I enjoyed designing for such pieces that address important political matters that can have a real, measurable impact and drive change. The first series of pieces address and emphasize the importance of voting to renew the millage for the longstanding Mott Community College which has become an important institution for the community. These mail pieces when out to 40,000 members of the community, and they won The Goldies - Peer Choice Award for Direct Mail Excellence in Public Affairs. The last two pieces are both invitation designs; one was internal and the other was for a political client.
